Savills PLC has recently received a major software upgrade from CML
CML’s legacy system "Classman" has been deployed across the Savills business for ten years
and has been used for residential and mixed commercial property accounting. Classman was a
UNIX product and Savills has now been upgraded to CML’s sister products "Agency Accounting"
and "Agency Lettings".
Paul McDonald, CML’s software development director said "CML has been working on this
significant upgrade for a number of months and I am pleased to report that the new upgraded
software has bedded in very quickly enabling very little downtime during the changeover
process. The cleansing and transfer of 10 years of legacy data makes this one of the largest data transfers we have undertaken.
Savills are now moving forward to reap the expected efficiency gains from their new systems"
