Deborah Horsford MAAT has recently joined CML in the role of Systems Accountant.
Deborah has come from the Facilities Management (FM) business where she has gained valuable experience undertaking a broad range of financial accounting roles. Of particular value is Deborah's Sarbanes Oxley experience which will be put to good use for the CML client base where the Corporate control environment is now a critical part of day to day management. The relevance of Sarbanes Oxley to software systems is obvious and Deborah's knowledge will bring CML right up to date in ensuring compliance with corporate best practice.
Deborah said " Sarbanes Oxley is a key requirement now for any large international business, it is not an option. The challenge for CML is to retain the flexibility of its software offering whilst at the same time delivering a highly effective corporate control environment. I'm looking forward to working with the programming team to ensure these two requirements lay easily alongside each other."
CML undertake a number of property accounting assignments for clients where the required technical knowledge and experience is not readily available within the client business. Generally these are complex and unusual arrangements which CML has tackled by deploying the unique blend of technical software and accounting skills to best meet the client requirement.
With Deborah having joined the business CML is now actively seeking further unusual property accounting assignments where the Company's skill base can be futher deployed. To discuss this further please contact:
