Hamptons Tenancy Management Department chooses CML Triangle

Hamptons International’s tenancy management department, which is based in The City, has selected CML’s “Triangle” product to manage and administer two large corporate client residential property portfolios.

CML “Triangle” has been deployed at Unilever PLC for the past three years to manage and administer a residential portfolio which is held within an Employee Benefit Trust (EBT). This new deployment at Hamptons is a direct parallel to the Unilever deployment.

The EBT structure presents complex accounting issues mainly to do with conversion of the Trust accounts to UKGAAP/IFRSGAAP basis of accounting for subsequent consolidation into the corporate accounts of the EBT client. “Triangle” has been tailored to deal with these issues alongisde the more normal aspects of property management and accounting.

The Hamptons International implementation will begin immediately with system live being planned for November.
