CML Software Ltd (CML) is an SME which develops, supplies and supports property management & accounting software products for the property industry. Our clients are a mixture of large multi-branch estate agencies and several large corporate property investors which are mostly based in or around London. The Company is now a market leader within its niche and continues to expand. We are now seeking to expand our client implementation team with the recruitment of a Software System Implementation Consultant.
Background of the position:
As part of the software support and system implementation function you will join a team of six other people based at CML’s office at Hare Hatch near Reading. Key aspects of the role will be:
- Develop a good understanding of our software products
- Gather and interpret client business requirements
- System setup and configuration
- System support and maintenance
The role will require an amount of working away at client sites depending upon the implementation activity from time to time. When office based the role will also encompass providing remote product support to client users as well as some product documentation production and maintenance. There may be a requirement to deliver software training sessions to system users from time to time.
We are open to applications from experienced individuals and also those who may have limited experience in one aspect of the requirement but have other compensating skills or experience.
Job description:
This is a broad ranging role where the appointed individual has an opportunity to grow and develop the position to best advantage for their own benefit and that of CML. Key focus areas are:
- Assist with implementation of CML software with new clients
- Assist with the training of new users
- Provide second line product support
Profile:
Previous experience of working within the property industry, particularly the Residential Lettings sector, would be a significant advantage. Otherwise we seek a bright and keen to learn individual who relishes working diligently through a large and sometimes complex project. Good personal skills are essential in addition to the following:
- Good spoken and written English
- Ability to prioritise and schedule workload
- A sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Good attention to detail with an analytical problem solving mind

The Company is now a market leader within its niche and is always looking for new ways to innovate. It is in this context that the company is looking to recruit a
MS.Net Developer. Background of the position:
The successful candidate will work within our software development team of six to undertake development and maintenance of our new web-based estate agency platform. The software is written in C#, ASP.NET and Silverlight, using a SQL Server back-end, and knowledge/experience of these technologies would be a great advantage to candidates. Experience of CSS, jQuery or any other web design / development platform would also be a bonus, but not essential. Any other IT or networking skills such as knowledge of setting up servers, networks, MS Exchange or Citrix would also be a bonus.
